Our story

Hello, my name is Michael, and I am the founder of Faith and Family Coffee Company. Thank you for visiting our store today. I started this company because I love coffee and know how one good thing can lead to many. I am a U.S. Navy Veteran and served in the Gulf War on a destroyer that did two Westpac deployments. One thing sailors and service members agree on almost unanimously is that coffee is the one thing that gets us through tough times. Navy coffee is not known for high quality, but it still filled that need. One thing I am certain of is that coffee can bring us together in a unique way. Whether it be sharing camaraderie like in the service or just starting your day with one solid good thing to build on, coffee is there. After the service, I was an EMT, firefighter, and eventually a nurse. Throughout all my adventures, coffee was there, serving me as I served others. Sometimes, it helped me get through long nights or kickstart a long day; it’s something I always reached for. I admit I didn’t know much about high-quality coffee or specialty-grade coffee, but I wish I had known sooner.

Please explore our wide variety of products, including coffee and teas, and find something you like. I often hear people gain a new appreciation for coffee once they realize that specialty-grade beans don’t need much enhancement. When you try it without products that mask its subtle flavors, you can experience its true depth. The flavored coffees use all-natural flavorings that add a subtle taste, which doesn’t overwhelm your senses but enhances the experience. I tend to experiment until I find what makes me happy; most often, I enjoy it black so I can experience the subtle notes directly. Sometimes, a little cream and sugar bring out additional flavors. It’s something you can make your own—there's no wrong way in my opinion. Others may disagree, but this isn’t about right or wrong. It’s about the experience, coming together, and sharing joy.
